“Since 1997, when God opened the doors in Guinea to invite unreached children into our driveway and share God's love with them, we’ve been teaching children workers to reach unchurched children in West Africa and beyond.”

-Dr. Theresa Andrews, Founder and President of Children in Christ.

Children in Christ seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ by: building vision among church leaders concerning the value of children’s ministry, mobilizing the church to unite across denominations for ministry to children, inspiring, training and equipping volunteers identified by local church leaders to reach children outside the church.

We believe that by empowering children to become leaders of the community the entire region can be transformed by with the Gospel.  This allows unreached people groups, even resistant tribes and religions to be touched by the gospel through the influence of children and weekly clubs.

Along with empowering local church leaders, pastors, and children to spread the Gospel in their neighborhood, we also seek to increase the community impact of children’s ministry though life skills training and home visits by both church leaders and CIC volunteers. Through these means CIC seeks to encourage and support sustainable ministrySustainable_Ministry.htmlSustainable_Ministry.htmlshapeimage_11_link_0

In addition to spreading the vision of children's ministry CIC seeks to support growth within the communities that it works by various other ministries.  HIV/AIDS education and support in ravaged west african nations, kitchen garden projects in war-torn Darfur, parenting and life skill classes in Guinea and education and literacy training in Kenya are just a few of the projects supported by CIC staff through our work with local leaders.

“Every Child is reached and is maturing in Christ.”
